Al gave the homunculus a significant look. After all, they were discussing Ed and Winry as a couple; it stood to reason that these activities were sexual, or at least romantic, in nature.
But he said, "Everything... To start with, I'm unreasonable for expecting him to behave like a human being. And I used to be able to count on Winry to take Ed down a peg when he was being a brat, but now she just defends him blindly. And she has to have her nose in everything, and she wants to filter everything that reaches him by her standards, even if you're just suggesting he behave like a responsible adult and not him. But he's being a manipulative jerk, throwing tantrums and running off into the snow to freeze to death, and even Naoto is tiptoing around him because he's so 'sensitive.' Not to mention he screams at me if I'm even a little bit critical, like I'm the badguy for not taking care of his girlfriend when HE takes off in the middle of the night. So no one will talk to me, because I'm the mean one who doesn't baby Brother's precious ego."
Maybe that was the harshest, least charitable interpretation of his family's actions, but to Al, approaching death and left outside of the family, that was how it seemed. Just thinking about it, he was getting mad again.
