I guess that happens a lot around here? Miss Uta told me we get a weekend like that once a month... It wasn't as bad as some of the other curses for me I mean but I didn't like it anyway. It was really chaotic.

Hey, Brother, I was reading a lot in the guide about the deities and it says they'll make trades or swaps for things you want and -- it's Equivalent Exchange. I think this place is just like home.

Maybe -- maybe if we know that we can find a way out for you and me and Winry and the Colonel.

I mean I'm sure you thought of this and I'm sure the Colonel tried too but there has to be something we can do.

[It doesn't take Al very long to find his way to the address Hunny gave him. And, contrary to popular belief, he can so fit through doors in the City. He just has to duck a little.

Of course, the absurdity of the situation has occurred to him. How's he supposed to have cake when he can't... well... Have cake?

Oh well. He'll just fake it like he did with Nina and bring it back home. Ed will probably eat it even if it's been sitting in the armor for a few hours.]

[Hunny had already set out the cake for them to eat, and tidied up a little bit too since his new friend was going to be a guest.

He's waiting for him eagerly and rushes over to pull him inside the apartment as soon as he sees him.]

[Al lets the little boy drag him in.]

[In spite of being so short he doesn't seem at all intimidated by the towering armour. He's used to being around Mori all the time, after all.]

[He leads him into a small dining room. There's a gigantic strawberry cake set out in the middle of the table, and a teapot and plates and teacups. In one of the chair a pink plush bunny is sitting, and on one of the table settings a smaller bunny is calmly crouched, his nose twitching.]

[Because of course he always has to translate for them. Not everyone could understand bunny language.]

[He pulls out a chair for Al to sit on and goes to take his own place at the table.]

[Al perches daintily on the chair, balancing his weight so that he doesn't crush it. It's nice just to be fourteen for a while. Or even ten. He has some years to make up on.]

[Hunny cuts Al a very big slice of cake with a large strawberry on top and hands it over to him, and then cuts another slice for himself.]

[Al accepts the cake and takes a piece, letting it side unnoticed into the armor.]

[Hunny shakes his head.]

No, Kao-chan stays here too! And Tianzi-chan! There used to be the rest of my friends too but they went back home. Ne, you're not on your own either, are you?! You mentioned your brother?

I've got my brother. And my best friend Winry is here, too. So it's not so bad. I'm glad you're not alone, though!

[Once he finished his second slice of cake, he leans over to pick up Bun-bun to cuddle.]

I like kitties best, but I like bunnies too!

[One of his earliest memories was holding a baby bunny. He and Ed had found the burrow and Mom had showed them how to feed the babies until they grew up.

Of course, there are other memories involving bunnies and a snare and a fire but he's not gonna tell those ones to Hunny.]

[Al offers one big hand to Bun-Bun, wiggling his fingers to entice the creature.]

[Bun-bun walks trustingly towards Al's hand and twitches his nose a little. Then he tries hopping onto it.]

[Awww, bunny! Al carefully lifts Bun-Bun to eye level to touch noses, wishing -- not for the first time -- that he could feel the fur and the tickling whiskers.]
