Only two faint white circles, tiny against the pale freckled skin, showed any trace of the attack. He arched his neck for inspection. Another submissive gesture. "Lucy's cordial made sure any of the poison was fully drawn out. And I haven't had anything as bad as - that night." Edmund flushed, but soldiered on. "Few know. Just us, my family...Kala knows something is different, since I run with her, but I've never told her everything." Although if she asked him too...it would be hard to deny her.
