Al ignored Edmund with the practice ease of a shifter. He'd seen too many naked bodies to stare and gawk at Edmund's, even if the king was particularly handsome. All that sword fighting, probably.
But he was scrupulously honest. And what Edmund was asking, it wasn't unreasonable. Certainly Al owed him at least a discussion. One thing still bothered him, though.
"You hadn't shown interest in me before, your highness. What is different now?"
